Hair & Nails Fun

The Young Women went to Evans Hairstyling College on Wednesday, July 8. The girls had a good time getting their hair and nails done. Brooke Webb, Katie's sister, is enrolled at the school, so she and Katie arranged this special night out for us.

Dye-ing to Know You!

We got together for a combined Young Women's activity last night at our new location: the Centennial chapel. Our numbers were much diminished with the loss of our friends from the former ward boundaries. We also have new leaders. Nonetheless, we had fun dyeing Easter eggs and telling stories that included embarrassing moments, lessons learned, and scary moments. Then we had some yummy chocolate spice cake and ice cream.

A final farewell

Hello girls!
I just wanted to give you all a final farewell! Thank you so much for being such amazing examples, friends and girls in general. I will always remember the times we've spent together and the way you've touched my life! You will ADORE your new leaders and I know they'll love you and take great care of you. Please know that I have a very strong testimony of the gospel and I know if you stay close to Heavenly Father throughout your life you will have more strength than you've ever imagined. The Lord LOVES you and wants you to succed! I am excited to see where the future takes each one of you. Please stay in touch!

New Beginnings

We have the most amazing beehives! Here they all are - all in costume and character!

It was cute looking at Victoria watch her sweet dad as she was presented as a new beehive. Victoria is truly a miracle to us all!

Sierra is such a great light to us! We're glad she has hugs to share with everyone.

Madison can be intimidating with her smarts, but she's an AMAZING friend. You go girl - keep memorizing those stars!

It was so sweet to see how Lexi's dad teared up talking about his little girl. We love you too Lexi! You are truly lucky to be like your mom (and your dad too) :)

Emma is a ball of fun and so willing to be a good friend. Thanks Emma!

Brittney looks just like her dad! I love it. She is truly a "mature Beehive" she is great at taking responsibility and making things happen.

This last Wednesday was our New Beginnings. Beehives were lucky enough to be in charge of this activity. The girls did an amazing job and the night turned out amazing. Thank you SO much for everyone who helped to make this night such a success!

I honestly can't express the love I have for all of these girls. They have touched my life more than they will ever know!

Party it up

I know this post is late and I truly appologize for that. It's been a crazy week. :) Tonight is YMYW activity and we're meeting at the church at 6. Each class has been asked to prepare a mini golf hole. Beehives, we're going to make the best hole! :) There will be lots of activitys during the evening. Tomorrow morning we're also meeting at the church again for breakfast! Sounds good huh? You can even come in your PJ's! Just make sure they're MODEST! :)

It's HAIR time!

Tomorrow night is Personal Progress night. Sis. Huls has come up with an amazing activity that I can't wait to see. We're going to learn about hair care and what to do and not to do with your hair. We're also going to learn some fast hair tricks and tips for fancy up-do's and things. If you've seen Sis. Huls and her girls you KNOW this will be an amazing opportunity to learn some fun things.

A Brand New Year

Tonight's activity is going to be great fun! We're meeting with both YW and YM. This activitiy has actually been a request from the prophet! We're doing an activity based on a new DVD that has been put out by the church called "A Brand New Year". We're going to watch clips from this movie - play games and of coarse - EAT!!! The laurels are in charge so you know it will be tons of fun. The activity starts at 7 and is at the church!

Activity for January 14th

I just wanted to give everyone an early heads up on our next activity. We're having a special night to recognize and remember one of our YW. Haley, who moved to CA about a 2 months ago, has been truly missed. We'd like to do a care package and send it to her letting her know how much we love her and appreciated the time we had with her. We'd like to collect pictures or anything you'd like to send her. We're going to also be playing games and EATING which means it will be a super fun night! We're meeting at 7 at the church.

Personal Progress activity

Tonight is our first Personal Progress activity by Sister Huls. It sounds like it's going to be amazing! Please remember to bring 3 pictures of yourself or family with you. Be sure they can be trimmed down to 3 inches and not loose anything :) Also, if you have scrapbook paper that you love, please bring it as well. The activity starts at 7 and is at the church.

For those of you in the Beehive presidency - we have a presidency meeting tonight at 6 - just before the activity.
