Picnic in the Park

We had a great time at our picnic at Eagle Park on July 28. The 10th Ward Young Women joined us also, which made it even more fun. Too bad I forgot my camera, or I'd have some pictures to post!

Temple Trip

Today some of the Young Women and Young Men and leaders enjoyed a trip to the Mount Timpanogos Temple to do baptisms for the dead. Afterward we had a fun outing to Cold Stone.

Temple Trip Next Week

If you're planning to go to the temple to do baptisms next week, you'll need to have a temple recommend before then. Young Women need to be at the temple by noon on Wednesday, July 14. Please remember it's Sunday dress, and no flip flops.

Stake Relief Society Clothing Exchange

Sister Schreiner is still in great need of someone to gather prom and specialty dresses for a formal room at the stake clothing exchange on July 17. It has been suggested that the Young Women can use this opportunity for a Value Project. The clothing for the formal room needs to be collected, washed, repaired, updated, and modesty modifications made, if needed.

This would be a great opportunity for daughters and moms to work together. Remember moms are encouraged to work on Personal Progress with their daughters! There is still time to help make this idea a big success but  It will take the efforts of several YW and their moms.
